Job Context

• The General Manager will lead and oversee all strategic planning, execution, and operational management of agro-business projects under the guidance of the Managing Director. The role requires strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams, ensuring project delivery, and maintaining operational efficiency across all departments. The position is highly strategic and focuses on business growth, risk management, and organizational development within the agriculture sector.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive strategic and operational plans in coordination with functional experts
• Ensure execution of all agro-business projects according to defined timelines and critical paths
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure smooth and effective project implementation
• Monitor operational activities and ensure quality execution across all business units
• Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Oversee recruitment planning in coordination with HR to meet organizational needs
• Support HR in sourcing key talent from the agriculture industry
• Maintain a productive and enabling work environment across all departments
• Conduct regular progress reviews and present reports with recommendations to management
• Identify business and operational risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Ensure effective supervision and control of all ongoing projects and operations
• Maintain communication with employees across different operational areas to track progress and improvements
