Job Context

• ESDO is hiring a Technical Officer to support rice production and processing-related project activities under the SMART Project. The selected candidate will provide technical support to microenterprises, organize training programs, conduct field visits, and assist in implementing climate-resilient and resource-efficient production systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and monitoring project activities
• Identify suitable microenterprises (MEs) and support adoption of RECP practices
• Provide technical support at cluster level
• Conduct demonstrations and monitor implementation progress
• Prepare training manuals, leaflets, and case stories
• Organize training, workshops, fairs, seminars, and exposure visits
• Promote climate-resilient and cleaner production systems
• Explore market opportunities and product diversification
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Conduct regular field visits and monitor enterprise performance
• Maintain coordination with government departments and stakeholders
• Perform additional project-related tasks assigned by management
