Job Context

• Chief Executive Officer (CEO) For, Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited (SJIBSL) A subsidiary of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC.
• Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, a leading Shariah-based commercial bank in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its subsidiary Shahjalal Islami Bank Securities Limited (SJIBSL).
• SJIBSL operates as a full-fledged brokerage and investment service provider, actively engaged in trading of shares and securities on behalf of clients since and contributing to the development of Bangladesh`s capital market.
• The CEO will provide strategic leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of governance and ethical practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive target-oriented business growth, ensuring achievement of revenue, profitability, and market share objectives;
• Lead strategic planning and execution with a strong focus on business expansion and performance targets;
• Oversee overall brokerage, trading, and securities operations with a results-driven mindset;
• Ensure compliance with regulations of BSEC, DSE, CSE, CDBL, RJSC, and other relevant authorities;
• Monitor and enhance financial performance, cost efficiency, and risk management aligned with business targets;
• Develop and implement KPIs and performance metrics across all functions;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, stakeholders, and the Board to support business growth;
• Identify new revenue streams, products, and market opportunities;
• Foster a high-performance culture with accountability and target achievement;

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics, Management, or related discipline MBA/MBM preferred
