Job Context

• This position is a technical production role under the Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia. The Laser Cutting Operator is responsible for operating CNC laser cutting machines to fabricate metal parts and components used in defense-related engineering and manufacturing projects. The role requires precision, machine handling skills, and strict adherence to technical drawings and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines for metal sheet cutting and fabrication
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and cutting layouts
• Set machine parameters such as power, speed, and material thickness
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components safely
• Inspect cut parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient production output
• Follow strict safety procedures and workshop regulations
• Coordinate with fabrication and engineering teams for production requirements
• Maintain daily production logs and report machine performance issues
