Job Description
  • This position is a mid-to-senior level role in supply chain and procurement management within a large diversified conglomerate. The Manager / Assistant Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement operations, supplier management, logistics coordination, and cost optimization across business units. The role focuses on ensuring efficient supply chain processes, timely procurement, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support organizational operations.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Analyze market trends to ensure cost-effective procurement strategies
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services across departments
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams
  • Prepare procurement plans and budget forecasts
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain procurement documentation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines
  • Coordinate with internal departments for material requirements planning (MRP)
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in supply chain
  • Manage import/export documentation (if applicable)
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and supply chain performance
  • Support strategic sourcing and long-term vendor development
