Job Description
  • This position is a supply chain and supplier coordination role within a large FMCG, pharmaceutical, and agribusiness conglomerate. The Officer, Supplier Management will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials and goods, monitoring supplier performance, and supporting efficient supply chain operations. The role focuses on cost efficiency, quality assurance, and uninterrupted supply for production and business continuity.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Manage and coordinate with local and international suppliers for timely procurement
  • Ensure continuous supply of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic suppliers
  • Support procurement planning based on production and business demand
  • Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers
  • Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams
  • Maintain accurate supplier database and procurement records
  • Track supplier issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze supplier performance reports and recommend improvements
  • Ensure quality compliance of received goods and materials
  • Assist in cost optimization and procurement efficiency initiatives
  • Handle documentation related to procurement contracts and agreements
  • Support risk management in supplier chain disruptions
  • Ensure timely communication between internal departments and suppliers
