Job Description
  • This position is a senior-level supply chain leadership role within a manufacturing environment. The Manager – Supply Chain Management will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain cycle, including import operations, procurement, inventory control, vendor management, and production material flow. The role focuses on cost optimization, uninterrupted production support, and strategic coordination between sourcing, logistics, and factory operations.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain operations from sourcing to factory delivery
  • Manage full import process including LC opening, amendment, tracking, and closure
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, C&F agents, and customs for timely clearance
  • Ensure smooth inbound logistics and on-time raw material delivery to factory
  • Analyze and control landed cost vs pre-landed cost variance
  • Collaborate with finance and costing teams for accurate material cost recovery
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local and international suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with vendors and buyers
  • Optimize inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production flow
  • Set and monitor reorder levels and safety stock policies
  • Act as central coordinator between production, planning, and store departments
  • Resolve raw material shortages and supply disruptions proactively
  • Manage local procurement and alternative sourcing strategies
  • Ensure timely availability of materials for production continuity
  • Monitor supplier performance and enforce compliance standards
  • Maintain supply chain KPIs and operational performance reports
  • Implement cost reduction and efficiency improvement strategies
  • Oversee logistics coordination and transport optimization
  • Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes
