Job Description
  • Global Insurance PLC is seeking a highly experienced senior executive for the role of Additional Managing Director / Deputy Managing Director. This leadership position is responsible for overall strategic direction, business expansion, regulatory compliance, and organizational transformation within a large-scale general insurance company in Bangladesh.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Develop and implement long-term marketing, business development, and growth strategies aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide executive leadership to drive sustainable business growth and operational excellence across all divisions.
  • Ensure full compliance with insurance laws, regulations, and IDRA directives in all business operations.
  • Lead and manage senior leadership teams and large workforce to achieve corporate performance targets.
  • Identify new market opportunities and design strategies to increase market share and premium income.
  • Formulate, execute, and monitor corporate policies, strategic plans, and business development initiatives.
  • Strengthen corporate brand identity through marketing campaigns, digital transformation, and public relations activities.
  • Prepare and present strategic reports, business analysis, and performance updates to the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulators, clients, reinsurers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in national and international meetings, conferences, and industry forums.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure long-term business sustainability.
  • Ensure product and service quality, competitiveness, and regulatory compliance across the organization.
  • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Board or senior management when required.
