Job Description
  • The project is implemented in partnership with ActionAid Bangladesh and funded by UNFPA. SHOMBHABONA aims to reduce child marriage and transform harmful social norms by working with communities, government agencies, civil society organizations, and youth groups.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Contribute to district and upazila-level awareness campaigns and initiatives.
  • Maintain regular communication with youth ambassadors, Gender Promoters, and local stakeholders.
  • Organize community sessions and ensure quality implementation.
  • Coordinate value deliberation sessions with reference groups and community participants.
  • Support collaboration with local CSOs, youth groups, and other organizations.
  • Provide logistical and technical support in training activities.
  • Support district-level media engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular field visits and ensure project standards are maintained.
  • Collect and document case stories, success stories, best practices, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Manage and update participant databases and submit documentation on time.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor in line with project objectives.
