Job Description
  • Trust Bank Ltd. is looking for a qualified and analytical professional to join its Risk Management team as an Officer – Operational Risk Management (SO–PO). The role focuses on identifying, monitoring, and mitigating operational risks across banking operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. The selected candidate will contribute to strengthening the bank’s risk management framework, improving operational resilience, and supporting a secure, compliant, and efficient banking environment.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Monitor operational risks across business units and banking operations.
  • Identify potential risk exposures and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain operational risk registers, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and loss event databases.
  • Develop, review, and implement operational risk policies, frameworks, and control procedures.
  • Analyze operational incidents, fraud cases, and irregularities to identify root causes and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, Basel guidelines, and internal risk management policies.
  • Support business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and operational resilience initiatives.
  • Prepare operational risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate with branches and departments to strengthen risk awareness and internal controls.
  • Assist in Risk-Based Supervision (RBS) reporting and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Review operational processes and recommend improvements to reduce risk and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a strong risk management culture throughout the organization.
