Job Description
  • CRP is looking for a qualified Medical Officer for its Savar Head Office. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to outpatient, inpatient, staff members, and emergency patients under the guidance of the Head of Medical Services Wing.
  • The role includes patient assessment, ward rounds, clinical documentation, emergency management, preoperative and postoperative care, and coordination with specialist doctors, surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and ward staff.

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

    • Age 25 to 40 years

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Perform daily ward rounds as advised by the Head of Medical Services Wing.
  • Provide medical management for outpatient, inpatient, staff members, and other patients.
  • Assess each patient’s condition and provide necessary medical treatment.
  • Manage emergency patients when required.
  • Maintain patient files, medical records, investigation details, advice, and treatment plans.
  • Communicate patient condition and treatment updates to ward staff.
  • Consult and discuss with the Head of Medical Services Wing, registrar, or specialist doctors for proper patient care.
  • Attend weekly ward rounds when needed.
  • Deliver lectures for CRP training courses if necessary.
  • Support preoperative preparation for patients planned for operation.
  • Ensure blood transfusion, prosthesis, and implant requirements for operation.
  • Contact anesthetists and surgeons during preoperative, operative, and postoperative periods when instructed.
  • Assist surgeons during operations as per roster.
  • Ensure proper postoperative care for patients.
  • Perform any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
