Job Description
  • Institute of Applied Health Sciences Hospital (IAHS-H), USTC Complex, Foy’s Lake, Chattogram is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Medical Technologist in Biochemistry, Pathology, and Microbiology. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, handling samples, operating lab equipment, maintaining records, and supporting physicians with accurate test results.
    • Requirements

    Education

    • Diploma in Medical Technology in (Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology).

    Additional Requirements

    • Age 25 to 40 years
    • Both Male, Female are welcome
    Responsibilities & Context
  • Analyze the chemical constituents of patients’ body fluids.Conduct culture and sensitivity tests.Identify bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites.Perform biochemical and serological tests.Operate laboratory equipment such as cell counters and microscopes.Store and retrieve equipment and chemicals according to required specifications.Collect and prepare medical testing materials such as needles, sample vials, blood storage bags, and test tubes.Record medical test data and enter results into patients’ medical records.Update patient information accurately in the organizational database.Discuss lab test results and findings with physicians when required.Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain clean and sanitary work areas.Work under supervising physicians and follow their instructions properly.Perform any other duties assigned by the authority.
