Job Description
  • Great Wall Ceramic Industries Ltd. is hiring for the position of Senior Manager (Internal Audit) in Dhaka. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire internal audit function of a large manufacturing organization operating in tiles and sanitary ware. The position focuses on strengthening internal control systems, risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency across all departments.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Lead and manage the Internal Audit Department and supervise all audit activities
  • Conduct financial, operational, compliance, and investigative audits across the organization
  • Review financial records including accounting entries, vouchers, bank statements, cash flow, and trial balances to identify irregularities or fraud
  • Audit procurement processes including purchase orders, vendor payments, stock receipts, and inventory management
  • Evaluate payroll, HR records, attendance, OT calculations, and employee benefit disbursements for compliance
  • Perform factory and operational audits covering production efficiency, raw material usage, waste management, and costing accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, buyer codes of conduct, and internal policies
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and corrective action recommendations for senior management and board
  • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions
  • Conduct surprise audits and special investigations when required
  • Train, mentor, and develop junior audit team members to build a strong audit function
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth audit execution and compliance
  • Ensure governance, transparency, and operational excellence across the organization
