Job Description
  • The Technical Assistant will support BRAC’s Seed and Agro Enterprise in certified seed potato production. The role involves field supervision, contract grower management, input distribution, and ensuring quality seed production through proper agricultural practices and documentation.
    • Requirements

    Education

    • Diploma in Agriculture

    Additional Requirements

    • Age 22 to 32 years
    • Only Male can apply
    Responsibilities & Context
  • Select suitable land blocks and contract farmers for seed production
  • Conduct land surveys and collect necessary land documents
  • Distribute agricultural inputs to contract growers on time
  • Guide farmers on seed production techniques and crop management
  • Supervise plantation, irrigation, fertilizer use, and field operations
  • Monitor rouging, spraying, grading, sorting, and storage processes
  • Ensure proper labour management in the field
  • Maintain records, registers, and submit regular reports
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and safe working practices
  • Support farmers in solving field-related technical problems
  • Follow organizational procedures and perform assigned tasks by supervisors
