Job Description
  • The position is for a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse at Unico Hospitals PLC.
  • The role is focused on providing nursing support in specialized hospital units, especially operating theatres and the Cath Lab.
  • Selected candidates may work in Cath-Lab, General OT, Gynae OT, Ortho OT, Neuro OT, or ENT OT.
  • The job requires practical hospital experience, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work in a professional private or corporate hospital environment.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and medical teams during operations.
  • Prepare operating theatres, instruments, and medical supplies.
  • Perform scrub nursing duties when assigned.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical condition.
  • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and handling of surgical equipment.
  • Complete nursing records and patient documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other nursing staff.
  • Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and accreditation standards.
  • Support emergency procedures when required.
  • Guide junior nurses and support staff in senior-level roles.
