Job Description
  • The Programme Support Manager will provide strategic coordination and operational support for POPI’s Microfinance Programme at the Head Office. The role focuses on tracking programme activities, coordinating with senior management and field offices, ensuring effective documentation, monitoring progress, supporting decision-making, and maintaining strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Coordinate and monitor programme activities, decisions, and assigned action points to ensure timely completion.
  • Work closely with Assistant Directors, Deputy Directors, and field offices to track plans and operational progress.
  • Provide regular operational, programme, and administrative updates to senior management.
  • Support HR coordination related to recruitment, placement, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and staff management.
  • Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Maintain systematic records of documents, approvals, correspondence, and programme files.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, presentations, and required documentation for management review.
  • Collect and compile field-level data, case studies, and programme information.
  • Organize meetings, prepare Minutes of Meetings (MoM), and track follow-up actions.
  • Support official communication with key stakeholders including PKSF and MRA.
  • Assist in monitoring programme performance and identifying operational challenges.
  • Ensure effective coordination between departments for smooth programme implementation.
  • Maintain confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism while handling sensitive information.
