Job Description

Social Marketing Company (SMC) is seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist (C Grade) to ensure effective pharmacy operations and provide quality pharmaceutical services at its model pharmacy. The role requires strong knowledge of dispensing practices, medicine management, patient counseling, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy documentation. The ideal candidate should have a C-Grade Pharmacy Certificate registered under the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council with practical experience in a pharmacy, clinic, hospital, or pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities & Context

Ensure proper pharmacy services including good dispensing practices, patient counseling, medicine labeling, and storage management.

Dispense medicines according to DGDA guidelines and ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Prevent dispensing of damaged, counterfeit, substandard, or expired medicines.

Maintain proper arrangement of medicines on shelves, cabinets, and refrigerators with required temperature control.

Maintain accurate documentation, legal records, inventory reports, and pharmacy service records.

Monitor medicine expiry dates and manage expired or damaged products properly.

Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper product visibility within the pharmacy.

Support revenue growth and contribute to the sustainability of pharmacy operations.

Maintain pharmacy standards according to SMC Model Pharmacy guidelines.

Coordinate with pharmacy management and other teams for smooth daily operations.

Skills & Expertise
