Job Description
  • Nabolok Parishad is seeking experienced Area Managers to supervise and manage its PKSF-supported microcredit operations across different regions of Bangladesh. The selected candidates will oversee field offices, monitor loan activities, supervise branch teams, ensure operational compliance, and support the achievement of financial and program targets. The role requires at least three years of experience managing microcredit activities in a PKSF-funded organization, along with strong field supervision, reporting, computer, and software-management skills.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Supervise and coordinate microcredit operations within the assigned area.
  • Monitor branch performance, loan disbursement, collection, recovery, and portfolio quality.
  • Ensure that credit activities comply with organizational policies, PKSF guidelines, and MRA requirements.
  • Supervise branch managers, credit officers, and other field-level employees.
  • Set operational targets and regularly review team performance.
  • Conduct field visits to verify client information and assess program implementation.
  • Monitor overdue loans, recovery rates, portfolio risks, and financial irregularities.
  • Develop corrective action plans for underperforming branches or field teams.
  • Review branch reports, financial records, loan documents, and operational data.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of area-level reports to senior management.
  • Support budget planning, resource allocation, and cost control within the assigned area.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to field employees.
  • Arrange team meetings and support staff training and capacity development.
  • Maintain strong relationships with borrowers, community representatives, and local stakeholders.
