The role is responsible for implementing business plans, achieving operational targets, supervising branch performance, maintaining portfolio quality, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory policies, and supporting staff development. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving branch profitability, strengthening financial controls, and expanding quality financial services to underserved communities.

Responsibilities & Context
Supervise and manage the overall operations of multiple branches within the assigned area.
Set and monitor monthly and annual targets for member growth, loan disbursement, and loan recovery.
Ensure branches achieve operational goals in line with the organization's business plan.
Monitor loan portfolio quality and implement strategies to reduce overdue and default loans.
Provide guidance and support to Branch Managers on credit risk management and recovery activities.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor group meetings, loan utilization, and staff performance.
Review and recommend loan applications within the assigned approval authority.
Evaluate the performance of Branch Managers and field staff and provide constructive feedback.
Recommend staff transfers, workforce allocation, and performance improvement initiatives.
Resolve branch-level operational, administrative, and disciplinary issues.
Monitor cash handling, banking transactions, and financial records to prevent irregularities.
Ensure corrective actions are taken based on internal audit findings.
Control operational expenses and ensure branches operate within approved budgets.
Consolidate branch performance reports and submit timely reports to senior management.
Implement organizational policies, strategic decisions, and operational guidelines across all branches.
Organize on-the-job training and coaching programs to improve staff skills and productivity.
Build and maintain effective relationships with local administration, financial institutions, and community stakeholders.
Support the implementation of social development, financial inclusion, and community outreach programs.
Ensure compliance with PKSF, MRA, and organizational policies, procedures, and operational standards.
