Job Description
  • The Assistant Teacher (Drawing) is responsible for teaching drawing and visual arts to primary-level students while encouraging creativity, imagination, and artistic expression. The role includes preparing lesson plans, conducting engaging classroom activities, assessing students’ progress, organizing art exhibitions and competitions, maintaining a safe learning environment, and supporting the school’s academic and co-curricular programs.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Conduct drawing and art classes for students from Nursery to Class Five.
  • Teach age-appropriate drawing techniques, painting, and creative art activities.
  • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with the school curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, imagination, and self-expression through visual arts.
  • Guide students in the proper use of art materials, tools, and craft supplies.
  • Assess students’ artistic progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and displays of students' artwork.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, engaging learning environment.
  • Keep accurate records of students' attendance, performance, and achievements.
  • Assist in school events, cultural programs, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school management to support students' overall development.
  • Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school authority.
