Job Description
  • Max Infrastructure Limited, one of Bangladesh's leading infrastructure companies, is inviting applications for the position of Senior General Manager, Technical for the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Project. The selected candidate will provide strategic leadership for technical operations, oversee project execution, monitor performance, manage project risks, and ensure timely completion of construction activities while maintaining quality, safety, and organizational standards.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards for real-time project monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Lead weekly project review meetings using L2/L3 schedules to ensure milestone-based execution.
  • Identify project delays, cost overruns, and operational risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee daily reporting, vendor mobilization, and Workfront closure to maintain project progress.
  • Guide project managers in achieving project objectives and resolving execution challenges.
  • Coordinate with legal and contracts teams regarding scope changes, variations, and contractual deviations.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports, risk assessments, and performance updates for senior management.
  • Design and implement technical training strategies based on project requirements.
  • Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA) across engineering, execution, safety, and quality departments.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development across project teams.
  • Train and mentor engineers and technical staff to improve project execution efficiency.
  • Strengthen project control through effective cost management, risk mitigation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration among engineering, procurement, quality, and project management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, project standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any additional technical and managerial responsibilities assigned by the management to support successful project delivery.
