Job Description
  • MAST Packaging Limited is hiring a Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end production, printing, converting, maintenance, quality assurance, and factory operations at its Savar EPZ manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for driving operational excellence through production planning, workforce optimization, quality control, preventive maintenance, process improvement, and EHS compliance while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and continuous productivity enhancement. The position also oversees engineering, maintenance, and cross-functional coordination to achieve business and customer requirements.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Oversee printing, converting, finishing, and factory floor operations.
  • Monitor production KPIs including OEE, machine utilization, productivity, and waste reduction.
  • Optimize manpower allocation and improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve factory performance.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems (ISO/QMS) and customer specifications.
  • Implement quality inspections to eliminate printing and packaging defects.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Ensure Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance and workplace safety standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate production, maintenance, and operations teams.
  • Plan and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Supervise maintenance and engineering activities for uninterrupted production.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of production materials.
  • Monitor attendance, shift scheduling, overtime, and workforce utilization.
  • Organize technical training and cross-functional skill development programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and business targets.
