Job Description
  • Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK), a leading national NGO working for poverty alleviation and healthcare services in Bangladesh, is looking for a qualified and experienced Medical Officer for its DSK Hospital, Durgapur, Netrokona. The selected candidate will provide medical services, patient care, and support maternal & reproductive healthcare programs. Candidates with experience in gynecology, obstetrics, family planning methods, and certified medical procedures will receive preference.

    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

    • Age Minimum 40 years

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Provide medical consultation and treatment to patients according to healthcare standards.
  • Conduct patient assessment, diagnosis, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Provide maternal and reproductive healthcare services.
  • Perform and assist in medical procedures including MR, D&C, family planning methods, and related services.
  • Monitor patient health conditions and maintain proper medical records.
  • Conduct ultrasound-related services and support diagnostic activities.
  • Ensure quality healthcare delivery and patient safety.
  • Provide health counseling and awareness support to patients and communities.
  • Coordinate with nurses, healthcare staff, and NGO project teams.
  • Follow organizational policies, medical ethics, and healthcare guidelines.
