Job Description
  • The Teacher will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to primary and lower secondary students at Sydney International School.
  • The role focuses on developing students’ English language proficiency, communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, reading comprehension, and literary understanding. The teacher will deliver lessons based on the school’s Cambridge curriculum while using activity-based and child-centred teaching methods.
  • The position also involves supporting students in understanding other subjects taught in English, including Science, Mathematics, and Social Studies. The teacher must create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment for both local and international students.
  • The successful candidate will plan lessons, conduct classroom and outdoor activities, evaluate student performance, maintain classroom discipline, and collaborate with colleagues and school management to ensure high teaching standards.
