The News Editor will work closely with reporters, correspondents, sub-editors, and the Editor-in-Chief to identify important stories, assign coverage, review reports, and maintain publishing schedules. The role requires strong news judgment, excellent editing ability, and the capacity to work under pressure during breaking news situations. The ideal candidate should understand digital journalism, current affairs, headline writing, fact-checking, and online audience behavior. The News Editor will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy, speed, consistency, and credibility of MoreNewsBD's daily news coverage.
