Job Description
  • Assistance for Blind Children (ABC) is seeking an OT Attendant for its eye hospital in Gazipur. The role involves supporting operation theatre activities, maintaining a sterile environment, assisting patients before and after surgery, and helping doctors and nurses during procedures. The position requires experience in OT operations, sterilization, and hospital support services.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a sterile environment in the operation theatre.
  • Assist in shifting patients to and from the OT before and after surgical procedures.
  • Prepare OT beds, equipment, instruments, and necessary supplies for surgeries.
  • Assist doctors and nurses by providing required surgical materials during operations.
  • Clean surgical instruments and support autoclave and sterilization procedures.
  • Maintain OT linen, gowns, and other reusable materials properly.
  • Follow infection control guidelines and ensure safe handling of OT equipment.
  • Perform other OT-related duties assigned by hospital authorities.
