Job Description
  • We are looking for a careful and patient-focused Sample Collection Officer to collect, label, handle, and transport patient specimens safely and accurately while maintaining proper hygiene, documentation, and sample-handling standards.

    Education

    • Diploma in Medical Technology

    • Age 22 to 35 years
    • Both Male, Female are welcome
    Responsibilities & Context
  • Collect blood, urine, stool, and other clinical specimens according to approved procedures.
  • Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before sample collection.
  • Label, document, and organize specimens accurately to prevent identification errors.
  • Handle and transport collected samples to the laboratory under appropriate conditions.
  • Explain sample collection procedures to patients and provide necessary instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards during sample collection.
  • Properly dispose of used needles, containers, and other biomedical waste according to safety guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate sample collection records and immediately report any rejected, insufficient, or compromised samples.
