Job Description
  • Legacy Footwear Ltd. is looking for a Compliance Officer to oversee factory compliance, workplace safety, audit preparation, documentation, and regulatory requirements. The role is suitable for candidates with experience in manufacturing, textile, leather goods, footwear, or tannery industries.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining compliance with buyer requirements, applicable labour laws, workplace safety standards, and audit requirements.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Ensure and implement factory compliance requirements according to buyer Code of Conduct and applicable legal standards.
  • Monitor workplace health and safety requirements, including occupational safety, chemical safety, fire safety, and electrical safety.
  • Identify compliance gaps and take necessary corrective measures.
  • Maintain effective communication between workers and management to address workplace concerns.
  • Prepare and update compliance-related documents, registers, and records according to buyer requirements.
  • Prepare Corrective Action Plans (CAP) based on audit findings.
  • Support and prepare the factory for audits such as BSCI and SEDEX.
  • Monitor workers’ health and safety, fire safety, workplace accidents, and related issues.
