Job Description
  • The Senior Research Associate will be responsible for conducting and managing economic and development research, analysing data, developing research proposals, supervising research activities, preparing reports, and contributing to policy analysis and dialogue. The role requires strong analytical ability, independent research capacity, and effective coordination with researchers, government agencies, institutions, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct independent research and analysis on macroeconomic, development, international economic and financial sector issues.
  • Design and implement research programmes, including research methodology, data collection and analytical frameworks.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and prepare evidence-based findings for policy research.
  • Develop research proposals, concept notes, project plans and funding-related documents.
  • Prepare high-quality research reports, policy papers, working papers and project progress reports.
  • Supervise and guide research associates and other team members involved in research activities.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, research institutions, development organisations and professional networks.
