Job Description
  • The Member of the Research and Policy Council will provide strategic guidance on CSER’s research agenda, institutional priorities, and policy-focused initiatives. The role involves reviewing and strengthening the quality, integrity, and policy relevance of research, identifying emerging national and global challenges, building partnerships with government, academia, private-sector and development organisations, supporting resource mobilisation, and enhancing CSER’s national and international visibility and policy impact.

  • Advise on CSER’s strategic research agenda, policy priorities, and institutional development.
  • Review and provide guidance on the quality, integrity, relevance, and impact of research initiatives.
  • Identify emerging national and global economic, social, and policy challenges.
  • Provide expert insights to strengthen evidence-based policymaking and strategic decision-making.
  • Support partnerships and networking with government agencies, academia, private-sector organisations, civil society, and development partners.
  • Contribute to resource mobilisation, institutional growth, and development of strategic initiatives.
  • Promote CSER’s research, credibility, visibility, and policy impact at national and international levels.
