Job Description

Bangladesh Institute of Social Research (BISR) Trust, a non-profit multidisciplinary research organization, is hiring Research Associate / Research Officer (Social and Gender). The position involves supporting social and gender research activities, preparing research proposals and reports, developing research articles and opinion pieces, and monitoring ongoing research projects. The role is suitable for candidates with a strong academic background in Social Science and good research, writing, communication, and computer skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOI), research proposals, reports, and research documents.

Develop research articles, policy-oriented write-ups, and op-ed articles for publication.

Prepare presentations for national and international seminars, workshops, and research events.

Attend and actively participate in national and international seminars, workshops, conferences, and other research-related events.

Monitor ongoing research projects to ensure timely completion according to the approved work plan and budget.

Supervise research activities and coordinate with relevant team members to maintain research quality.

Support data collection, research analysis, documentation, and preparation of research outputs.
