Job Description
  • Bangladesh Fertility Hospital Ltd. is looking for a competent and experienced Medical Technologist/Lab Technologist (Male) for its Pathology Laboratory in Dhaka. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and specialized laboratory investigations, handling patient samples, operating laboratory analyzers, maintaining quality standards, and providing accurate diagnostic support.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas including Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Serology and Clinical Pathology.
  • Collect, properly label, process and preserve blood and other patient specimens according to standard operating procedures.
  • Operate, monitor and perform basic troubleshooting of automated laboratory analyzers and other laboratory equipment.
  • Maintain laboratory quality control (QC) standards and ensure all test results are accurate and reliable.
  • Prepare, update and maintain laboratory reports, test results, records and other required documentation.
  • Monitor laboratory reagents and consumables, ensuring proper storage, stock management and timely availability.
  • Strictly follow laboratory safety, infection prevention and control (IPC) guidelines and perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Management.
