Job Description

The Branch Manager will have end-to-end responsibility for managing branch business, profitability, customer relationships, credit quality, daily operations, regulatory compliance, and team performance. The role requires strong leadership and business development skills to expand the local market while maintaining high standards of customer service, risk management, and operational control.

Responsibilities & Context

Lead branch business planning and achieve targets for deposits, loans, advances, trade, remittance, cards, fee income, and profitability.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.

Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition and cross-selling.

Ensure proper credit sourcing, appraisal support, documentation, monitoring, and recovery follow-up.

Oversee general banking, cash, clearing, remittance, account opening, and other branch operations.

Ensure strict compliance with AML/CFT, KYC, sanctions, audit, security, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor branch performance, minimize operational and credit risks, and maintain service quality.

Lead, motivate, and develop branch employees to achieve business and service objectives.

Maintain a professional and accountable branch culture focused on customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
