Job Description
  • Al Noor Specialized Hospital is looking for qualified and compassionate Female Midwives to provide professional maternal and newborn care. The selected candidates will be responsible for antenatal care, assisting and managing normal deliveries, postnatal care, monitoring mothers and newborns, and responding appropriately to emergency situations while maintaining proper clinical and infection-control standards.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Provide antenatal check-ups, counseling, guidance and regular monitoring of expectant mothers.
  • Assist with and manage normal delivery cases following safe clinical protocols.
  • Monitor the mother and baby during labor and delivery, including vital signs and overall condition.
  • Provide immediate and appropriate care to newborns after delivery.
  • Provide postnatal care and support to mothers and newborns.
  • Educate mothers about breastfeeding, newborn care, maternal health and family planning.
  • Identify pregnancy, labor or postpartum complications at an early stage and promptly inform or refer the patient to the physician/specialist.
  • Maintain accurate and updated patient, delivery and clinical records.
  • Follow proper hygiene, patient safety and infection-prevention and control procedures.
  • Ensure necessary equipment and delivery-room facilities are properly prepared and maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families and provide compassionate support.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive maternal and newborn care.
