Job Description

Sonargaon Star Flower Shah Ali Rafiqul Islam School and College, approved by the Dhaka Education Board, is seeking qualified, responsible, and student-friendly lecturers to teach at the higher secondary level.

Two lecturers will be appointed for each of the following subjects: Bangla, English, Mathematics, Physics, and Home Economics. Selected candidates will be responsible for teaching, supporting students’ academic development, conducting assessments, and actively participating in the institution’s educational activities.

Bachelor degree in any discipline, Masters degree in any discipline

Responsibilities & Context

Conduct regular classes according to the prescribed curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans and necessary teaching materials.

Present subject-related lessons in a clear and effective manner.

Conduct practical classes and provide necessary guidance.

Administer examinations, assignments, and classroom assessments.

Prepare examination question papers and evaluate answer scripts.

Maintain records of students’ attendance and academic performance.

Provide necessary academic support to underperforming students.

Ensure student discipline and a positive learning environment.

Communicate with parents regarding students’ academic progress.

Participate in departmental meetings and teacher training programs.
