Job Description
  • CAPITAL POWER ENGINEERING (BD.) is looking for an experienced Sr. Technician – Switchgear & Panel Section to handle the assembly, wiring, testing, troubleshooting and servicing of HT/LT switchgear, PFI plants, ATS panels, control panels and distribution boards. The selected candidate will work with electrical drawings and control circuits while ensuring quality, safety and timely completion of production and field-service activities.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Assemble, wire and connect HT/LT switchgear, PFI plants, ATS panels, control panels and distribution boards according to electrical drawings.
  • Read and accurately interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic diagrams and control circuit layouts.
  • Perform breaker wiring for ACB, VCB and MCCB, magnetic contactors and relays.
  • Assist in testing, troubleshooting and commissioning of electrical panels.
  • Conduct quality inspections of manufactured panels before dispatch.
  • Support busbar fabrication and panel layout implementation.
  • Provide technical support, maintenance and field-service assistance at client sites.
  • Participate in substation installation and related electrical works.
  • Identify electrical faults and implement appropriate troubleshooting solutions.
  • Ensure all wiring, connections and components meet required technical specifications.
