Job Description

Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) is seeking Paralegals for its project-based legal aid activities across Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Kushtia, and Patuakhali. The selected candidates will support legal aid and human rights initiatives by assisting with community engagement, legal documentation, beneficiary support, information collection, and access-to-justice activities. The role is suitable for candidates interested in social work, community engagement, and legal aid, and prior professional experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities & Context

Support legal aid and community-based activities under the assigned project.

Assist beneficiaries and community members in accessing appropriate legal aid and support services.

Collect and document basic information from individuals seeking legal assistance.

Assist project staff with legal documentation, forms, records, and case-related information.

Conduct community engagement activities to raise awareness of legal rights and available legal aid services.

Identify and refer individuals requiring legal assistance to appropriate legal professionals or project personnel.

Maintain accurate and organized records of beneficiaries, cases, activities, and project documents.

Assist in preparing reports, data collection, documentation, and other project-related materials.

Coordinate with project team members, community representatives, and relevant stakeholders.
