Job Description
  • MEDISERVE PHARMA is seeking an experienced Manager – Accounts and Finance to oversee the organization’s financial, accounting, banking, taxation, and compliance activities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting, strengthening internal controls, managing cash flow and banking operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial insights to support business growth and strategic decision-making.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting and maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, cost analysis, and performance projections.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and other accounting operations.
  • Ensure accounting activities comply with IFRS, OHADA, and applicable local accounting standards.
  • Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, inventory valuation, and month-end and year-end closing.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, bank accounts, foreign currency transactions, and international fund transfers.
  • Maintain effective relationships with banks and negotiate appropriate financial terms and instruments.
