Job Description
  • YAZ OVERSEAS (RL-2064) is recruiting experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for employment in Fiji. The role involves mechanical maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of heavy diesel-powered machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Candidates should have 3–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and operation & maintenance.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy diesel engines and machinery.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel-powered equipment.
  • Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs and replacements.
  • Conduct regular servicing, adjustments, and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Maintain and inspect mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and relevant operational standards.
  • Minimize equipment downtime through timely troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service activities.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical issues.
  • Perform other duties related to heavy diesel mechanical maintenance as assigned.
