Job Description
  • Arannayk Foundation is seeking a Program Associate (Forest and Biodiversity) to support its forest and biodiversity conservation program in Moulvibazar. The position will contribute to project implementation, biodiversity conservation, community engagement, sustainable forest governance, innovative programming, and monitoring and evaluation. The role will support initiatives aimed at establishing a Protected Area within the Hararganj Reserved Forest while strengthening community participation and nature-based solutions.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Support implementation of forest and biodiversity conservation projects.
  • Assist in biodiversity assessments, field activities, and conservation planning.
  • Support participatory land-use planning and community consultations.
  • Coordinate with forest-dependent communities and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in activities related to Protected Area establishment and legal designation processes.
  • Support sustainable forest governance and community-based conservation initiatives.
  • Contribute to innovative programming and nature-based solutions.
  • Assist with project monitoring, evaluation, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze relevant project and field-level information.
  • Support development and implementation of activities related to biodiversity conservation and sustainable livelihoods.
  • Coordinate with project teams, local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
