Job Description
  • Arannayk Foundation is seeking a Program Associate (Wildlife Resource) to support its wildlife conservation program in Moulvibazar. The position will contribute to project implementation, wildlife and biodiversity conservation, community engagement, sustainable forest governance, innovative programming, and monitoring and evaluation. The role will also support initiatives for establishing a Protected Area within the Hararganj Reserved Forest through scientific assessments, participatory planning, community consultations, and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Support the implementation of wildlife, forest, and biodiversity conservation projects.
  • Assist in wildlife and biodiversity assessments, field surveys, and conservation activities.
  • Support participatory land-use planning and community consultations.
  • Coordinate with forest-dependent communities, local stakeholders, and relevant government agencies.
  • Assist in initiatives related to the establishment and legal designation of the Protected Area.
  • Promote sustainable wildlife conservation, forest governance, and community stewardship.
  • Support innovative conservation programming and nature-based solutions.
  • Assist with monitoring, evaluation, documentation, and project reporting.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze field and project-related information and data.
  • Support sustainable livelihood initiatives for forest-dependent communities.
