Job Description
  • Jamuna Bank PLC is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer to lead the Bank’s Human Resources Division, Training & Development, and bank-wide operational transformation. The role will drive workforce strategy, organizational capability, HR modernization, operational centralization, service excellence, and continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective governance. The position carries the rank of Deputy Managing Director and will play a key role in aligning people and operations with the Bank’s long-term growth objectives.

  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, compensation, employee relations, and succession planning.
  • Oversee training, leadership development, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
  • Drive operational centralization, process standardization, and service excellence across the Bank.
  • Modernize HR and operational processes through automation, HRIS, and data analytics.
  • Advise senior management on people strategy, organizational transformation, and workforce development.
  • Ensure HR and operational activities comply with relevant regulations and governance requirements.
  • Support large-scale HR modernization and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Foster an ethical, accountable, and performance-driven organizational culture.
  • Align HR, training, and operational functions with the Bank’s long-term strategic objectives.
