Job Description
  • BD Venture Limited is seeking an experienced and visionary professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will lead the company’s overall strategy, investment activities, fundraising initiatives, institutional relationships, portfolio management, and organizational growth while strengthening BD Venture’s position within Bangladesh’s venture capital and alternative investment ecosystem.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Set and execute BD Venture’s overall business strategy, investment direction, and long-term growth roadmap.
  • Lead fundraising activities and build strong relationships with institutional investors, banks, NBFIs, DFIs, corporates, family offices, and potential Limited Partners.
  • Oversee the complete investment lifecycle, including deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, structuring, investment decisions, portfolio monitoring, and exits.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with Bangladesh Bank, BSEC, Startup Bangladesh Limited, ICT Division, and other relevant regulatory and government stakeholders.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies and founders on business strategy, governance, fundraising, growth, and operational improvement.
  • Identify co-investment opportunities, strategic partnerships, new funds, and investment products aligned with market opportunities.
  • Strengthen corporate governance, compliance, risk management, institutional processes, and lead a high-performing investment and management team.
