Job Description
  • PROTTYASHI is hiring an Officer – Safeguarding, Accountability & Employee Engagement to support the implementation, monitoring and strengthening of organizational systems related to Safeguarding, PSEAH, Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP), Complaint, Feedback & Response Mechanism (CFRM), and Employee Engagement & Wellbeing. The Officer will work closely with the Manager, HRD, programme teams and field staff to promote awareness, compliance, accountability, community participation and a safe, respectful workplace culture.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Support implementation of Safeguarding, PSEAH and Code of Conduct policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safeguarding and PSEAH awareness sessions, orientations and refresher activities.
  • Support safeguarding risk identification, assessment and mitigation at programme and field levels.
  • Conduct monitoring visits to assess compliance with safeguarding and PSEAH requirements.
  • Support dissemination of safeguarding reporting information and referral pathways.
  • Receive and appropriately refer safeguarding and PSEAH concerns through approved procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential safeguarding records and documentation.
  • Escalate sensitive or high-risk concerns to the Manager through prescribed mechanisms.
  • Support implementation of AAP commitments across programmes and projects.
  • Assist teams in integrating participation, information sharing, feedback and accountability into programme activities.
  • Support community engagement and meaningful participation of affected populations.
  • Monitor the accessibility and effectiveness of accountability mechanisms.
  • Collect and compile accountability information for analysis and reporting.
