Job Description
  • Institute of Applied Health Sciences Hospital (IAHS-H) is seeking experienced and professional Staff Nurses to provide quality patient care and support clinical operations. The position requires at least 3 years of hospital experience, along with a valid Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) registration and license. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment and care, medication administration, emergency response, infection control, documentation, and coordination with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Ensure high-quality patient care and promptly address patients’ needs.
  • Monitor, assess, and record patients’ conditions and vital signs.
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Prepare patients for medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts.
  • Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Report changes in patients’ conditions to physicians promptly.
  • Educate patients and their families about care plans, medications, and lifestyle changes.
  • Follow infection prevention, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
  • Assist in managing medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.
  • Respond efficiently and calmly to emergencies and unexpected situations.
  • Provide immediate care during emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to floor operations, incidents, and patient care outcomes.
