Job Description
  • Neuron Nursing College is seeking a qualified Nursing Lecturer / Academic Head to lead nursing education and academic activities at its Gaibandha campus. The position requires a BSc or MSc in Nursing, valid nursing registration/license, relevant clinical experience, and mandatory teaching experience in a nursing institution. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering nursing lessons, supervising clinical training, evaluating students, supporting curriculum development, and maintaining a professional learning environment.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Develop and deliver theoretical nursing lessons to students.
  • Prepare lesson plans, lectures, assignments, and other learning materials.
  • Demonstrate nursing procedures and clinical skills to students.
  • Supervise students during clinical rotations at hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Evaluate students’ academic performance and clinical competencies.
  • Conduct examinations, quizzes, practical assessments, and skill evaluations.
  • Provide academic guidance, feedback, and support to students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
  • Ensure students follow nursing ethics, professional standards, and patient-safety practices.
  • Coordinate with hospital and clinical staff regarding students’ clinical training.
  • Participate in curriculum development and academic meetings.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment.
