Job Description
  • Partners in Health and Development (PHD) is seeking a qualified and experienced Paramedic for its Model Urban PHC (Aao Clinic) Project. The position will provide primary health care services at urban clinics in Dhaka, Gazipur, and Narayanganj, supporting promotive, preventive, and curative care in line with national standards and protocols. The role involves patient screening, clinical support, health education, child growth monitoring, family planning services, nutrition counselling, referral support, record keeping, and community-based satellite clinic activities.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Organize the workplace and demonstrate the proper use of available service-related items and equipment.
  • Conduct satellite clinic services when required.
  • Perform patient screening using digital equipment provided by the project.
  • Maintain accurate records of all services and care provided and submit reports to the Clinic Manager and project office.
  • Provide Essential Service Package (ESP) services according to national standards and approved protocols.
  • Assist General Practitioners (GPs) and Consultants during clinical procedures.
  • Prepare patients for examination and clinical services.
  • Conduct growth monitoring for children under five years of age.
  • Provide family planning commodities to eligible patients.
  • Provide counselling on nutrition and related health services.
  • Deliver preventive health care services to beneficiaries.
  • Refer patients to GPs at Vital/Ultra clinics for further examination and treatment when necessary.
  • Conduct health education sessions for beneficiaries at both static and satellite clinics.
