Job Description
  • Jhpiego Bangladesh is seeking an experienced Outbreak, Emergency Response & TB Technical Advisor to provide technical leadership and guidance on outbreak response, emergency preparedness, infectious disease surveillance, and tuberculosis (TB) programs in Bangladesh and the region as required. The position will work closely with technical teams, government counterparts, implementing partners, and other stakeholders to strengthen program implementation, build technical capacity, support training, and contribute to donor reporting, publications, presentations, and other technical communications.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Provide technical support and guidance for outbreak and emergency response activities in Bangladesh and across the region as required.
  • Provide expert technical advice on TB screening, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care, and control strategies.
  • Ensure outbreak and emergency response activities are aligned with approved workplans and relevant technical standards.
  • Develop technical strengthening and training strategies and facilitate training and capacity-building activities.
  • Develop scientific, technical, and other program materials to support project implementation and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the preparation of donor reports highlighting achievements and progress in outbreak and emergency response activities.
  • Contribute to publications, presentations, and other external communications related to the project.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, U.S. Government counterparts, implementing partners, and other organizations to coordinate outbreak and emergency response efforts.
