Job Description
  • The University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) is seeking a talented, energetic, self-motivated, and experienced Lab Demonstrator for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology. The role focuses on supporting faculty members in laboratory teaching, conducting lab sessions, maintaining equipment, assessing students, ensuring laboratory safety, and managing documentation required for academic and accreditation purposes.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Assist faculty members in conducting laboratory classes and preparing experiment lists.
  • Conduct lab sessions and contribute to the preparation of laboratory examinations.
  • Maintain, develop, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Evaluate and grade laboratory test reports and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory equipment.
  • Update laboratory safety records and prepare documentation for accreditation bodies such as BAC and BAETE.
  • Participate in faculty meetings regarding laboratory improvements and perform additional duties assigned by the department authority.
