Job Description
  • Divine Mercy Hospital Ltd. is seeking a qualified Laboratory Technologist to support diagnostic and laboratory services. The role involves specimen handling, laboratory testing, equipment operation, record maintenance, quality control, biosafety compliance, and close coordination with Medical Technologists, Pathologists, and other laboratory professionals.

    Responsibilities & Context
  • Collect, receive, label, and process patient specimens according to established procedures.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and examinations accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment when required.
  • Prepare reagents, solutions, slides, and other laboratory materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, samples, and laboratory activities.
  • Follow laboratory SOPs, quality-control procedures, biosafety guidelines, and biomedical waste disposal rules.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality, laboratory cleanliness, and report equipment or testing issues to the appropriate supervisor.
